Claimed that they drained the transmission fluid and that it was burnt black and had metal shavings in it. Ironically, I had already changed the transmission fluid twice the week prior to taking it there so it was not burnt and there was no metal shavings in it and then they tried to charge $100 to do that when they did nothing.

Caleb Reynolds, It is always our goal to provide a 5-star experience and we sincerely apologize that this was not the case for you. The fluid was not drained out of your 89 Ford Probe. The transmission fluid smelled burnt and did show metal flakes in the fluid after it was checked. After the test drive, the check engine light came on and after third gear, the vehicle started slipping. We did recommend a rebuild or replacement of this transmission. You can change the fluid of your transmission today and tomorrow there be a burnt smell to it. The metal shavings are coming from the clutches in torque converter. You knew the transmission had issues when you brought it in stating that the vehicle had a rough third gear and would not go into fourth gear with surging at idle. You also stated that the vehicle dies on take off. If there is anything else we can assist you with or have you better understand, please call our office manager at 972-248-8777.

I went to repair a transmission in this place where they told me that they were going to put a new one in and they put it rebuilt. The person who helped me is called Miguel, the mechanic, saying that it is new and at the car dealership where I went, none of them sell it new. Here I have it. the tests where they wanted to put me on the new one as rebuilt and charge me the full price and apart from that if you bring the old transmission it comes out at half the price, don't be fooled, I don't recommend it, I went myself to ask for a price, ask for a price first and I don't know. let them fool you

Alberto Olivero,You requested a price for a brand new transmission. After we performed a free diagnostic test, we determined your transmission needs to be replaced. Miguel gave you two options after explaining that there are no new transmission for purchase. We offered an OE remanufactured transmission for $8359.55 (531.25 cheaper than the dealership) and a rebuild price of $6882.93. The picture you provided from the dealership shows a breakdown of cost. However, the $3000.00 you think you would get back if you do the work at the dealershipis the core charge. This is an additional $3000.00 charge on top of the $8890.80. There is no core charge if the dealership gets to keep your transmission. The actual cost of the transmission is $5213.21. If you kept your transmission, the price would increase to $8213.21. You told Miguel that the cost of the remanufactured unit was too high and you could purchase a transmission for $2500.00. I understand that all of this can be very confusing and stressful as this is a significant expense to have. DO NOT GO HERE!! Brought our company vehicle here. They replaced the transmission in doing so they tore the cv boot and of course would not own up to it so we had to pay for that part too. Well here we are just a few months later and guess what?! They cross threaded the motor mount and the engine dropped to the frame! This is all the damage that the certified mechanics have given us at this point but they say it's not un common after taking your vehicle to Eagle. They have to replace the mount, AC compressor and CV that we just had replaced by eagle. Once those are replaced we will be able to find out if the motor is toast as well. Now we are out thousands we spend here as well as the income form downed vehicle and now thousands to fix their mistake. NEVER PUT TRUST INTO THIS PLACE!

We are sorry to hear you had an issue with your vehicle. You have a full warranty on the parts we replaced. So we are not sure why you did not bring the vehicle back to us if you thought there was an issue. Our records show we replaced the transmission, driver side drive shaft and the battery. During our diagnosis, we have no record of an issue with the engine mount. So we had no reason to remove the engine mount. You suggest the engine mount was cross threaded. We did not remove the engine mount so there was no opportunity for us to damage the thread. We have called your company several times and left a voicemail message, but have had no call back to date.
