Nice 2.9 mile hike. Peaceful and well maintained. There are interesting rock formations and two overlooks.

Nice area to access the trophy waters of Watauga River.

We stayed here on a whim after our cabin reservations fell through. We were pleasantly surprised by this little campground though. We highly recommend it!
