        We had an awesome time visiting from Chattanooga. There were several policemen there. We felt safe & it was beautiful.

        This is a nicely maintained park. They have just recently added some landscaping along the walking trail. It's small but well shaded under large hardwood trees. It's best to enter from the south on Riverside Dr. I-55 north and south are under construction from McLemore to the river bridge. Construction is scheduled to be completed by April 2025. Dog-friendliness: I've seen several people walking their dog here. Picnic area: There are a few tables and benches.
