Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art

The Belz Museum is truly a gem, not to missed. I was astounded by the quality of the collection and by the superb craftsmanship of each object. Of the dozen or more museums that I visited on a multi-state two week trip, this was my favorite. I only wish the museum had a current book illustrating and describing the pieces (the one in the gift shop is dated 1995 and doesnt include many of the pieces). This is a world-class collection and museum!

Venue selling Valentine's day special tickets on Groupon to a closed venue that is advertising on their Groupon page as OPEN. We bought two tix, drove an hour and a half, paid too much to park, then walked about 10 minutes through a dangerous part of town just to find out the place is closed. I called the museum about this while standing outside, and informed them that their Groupon page shows them OPEN and selling tickets, and stated to them that it appears misleading. If I had known they were closed, I obviously would not have bought tickets and drove almost two hours to visit. The lady on the phone just said "nothing I can do about it"; she didn't seem concerned. UPDATE 3 DAYS LATER: At this very moment, The Belz Museum Groupon page lists them as OPEN in BOLD TEXT, clearly displaying a list of days and hours indicating they are open every day of the week, and currently selling bogus tickets to their closed museum. Anyone can go there rduring business hours and see they are "open", and buy a ticket believing the ticket can be used that day. It is not the public's duty to double-check to see if you are falsely advertising on one platform but stating the truth on another.
