If you are looking for somewhere to go where they DON'T listen to you & your concerns this is the place. They do not respect your time. They can only treat 1 problem at a time, so dual diagnoses is out of the question. If you don't fit their mold then they don't want you there. They tell you that they'll teach you skills to deal with your issue but never do.

They just sent home a friend and neighbor in worse shape then when he went there!!!! God help them if he kills himself because of their ignorant lack of help. First they lie on their website about their available resources!!! Then instead of telling someone they don't want their business, they make up some rule that no other mental health facility in Memphis has heard of. I know the reason you didn't want him and so does he. I will do everything in my power to file complaints for your false advertising and fake rules!!! You people are just plain pathetic!!

Great place to get your life back on track. One on one therapy. Group therapy. Education. Supportive staff. Accepts insurance. Mental health and addiction issues.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working in the Memphis area. I have referred many of my clients to Mental Health Resources and have received excellent feedback about their experiences with them. Their counselors are professional and very well trained. I have every confidence in their staff and counselors when I refer a client to them and know that the client's individual needs will be met. I would recommend this MHR to anyone needing or wanting an IOP or PHP!

Choosing and going to Mental Health Resources for IOP is one of the best decisions I've made for my life. I've battled PTSD, Major Depression and Anxiety for a very long time. Group helped me to get to the root of my depression and process my feelings and thoughts regarding the trauma. I learned so much about myself and the behaviors I exhibit as a result of the trauma, depression and anxiety. Before IOP, a big part of my depression was the powerlessness I've always felt over it. I learned to take back my power and become 100% responsible for me. This process was not simple or easy, most days it was difficult but it was in those moments that I was able to heal. I was determined to work and put the resources that were given to me @ MHR to work. They won't cure you but they will give you the tools to take control of your life. The extent to which you heal depends on the work you're willing do. One of the most eye opening things about IOP is seeing that there are so many people going thru what you are going thru and that you aren't alone in this. I could go on for days about how much better I feel and am finally not overwhelmed with life bc of everything I've experienced and learned from the amazing therapists at MHR. The staff is amazing, sweeter than sweet and non-judegemental. Thank You so much MHR for empowering me and giving me the tools to fight for my life. Bless You.
