Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Knoxville at Cedar Bluff, TN

Currently sitting in the lobby. The room that i previously booked is no longer available so i booked another room type. The room is not available hence why im sitting in the lobby. The manager says i can get a room if i pay an early check in fee, but im already in house? Why should i pay an early check in fee if im already here? Im a diamond member ? Doesnt that count for anything? This is all the more reason why im never coming here again. Patels are horrible. No customer service. No sense of business. I will never come here again. Then two guys just walked in and wanting to check in and they couldnt the front desk guy claimed they were sold out. Lies he tell. The room I had last night the parking lot was empty with the back view. Plus you can see if they have reservations available or not and they did. I just hate when they lie. Like do you want business or not Like you are really telling me that you dont have not one room ready for me to go to?! Dumb. Nobody cares about business. Nobody cares if Im a diamond member. Except when two skinny white guys had the same problem but they were able to stay in their rooms. And currently there is another lady who came down at 12:33 with the same thing extending her stay and shes able to stay in her room without having to sit in the lobby. Guess Ill just order me DoorDash and stink up their lobby its been 3 hours of me sitting here waiting for a room. I will never. I should have booked another room but due to the eclipse I didnt want to miss it.

The room we had was not very clean. The bathroom is in need of a makeover, there is obvious mold in the bathtub. The hot tub is filled in with concrete!! We called the front desk to ask if there was blankets and pillows for the pullout the lady was very rude and told me to come to the front desk and get them if I wanted them. Typically this stuff is already in the room not bad just thought it was odd that it wasnt in the room. Breakfast doesnt start till 730.

Where do I start? The pool was closed. Would have been nice if there was a way to note this anywhere because this was a big factor when we look for hotels. They tried to update the room but they did a poor job. The flooring wasnt finished right. You can still see holes in the wall, the sofa bed was so rickety, outlets dont work, breakfast is just so meh. This is rated a 3 star hotel by google but dont expect much. Im so disappointed.

The reviews looked okay, and I only needed a place to crash. The location. was convenient, just of the highway. Perfect! Nope. The King Suite was definitely a king, a poor Maintained King Suite. Patch jobs all over the walls and ceilings. The sheets were barely clean and contained a few substance stains of countless varieties. There were streaks over every surface from cleaning with dirty rags . The shower head was filthy with deposits. I've stayed at this chain in WV, and it was awesome. The whole experience gave me the creeps at this location. I hope I wake up! Rooms: Cheap hotel like. If you like to feel clean and have a warm fuzzy about someone properly preparing your room. Don't come. Get an expensive room downtown. Yolo. Safety: It was safe, but felt off. Personal opinion of course.
