Super nice people. They try to do everything in their power to help people. I had some issues with my phone taking forever backing up, and they let me use a screen over the weekend just so i could get all my stuff. Highly HIGHLY recommend them. And their team is phenomenal.

I took my phone to get fixed for one problem it had- the charging piece where you connect the phone would not charge. They originally told me it would be $150 . No problem. I come back after an hour and tell me it has water damage and need to change the screen. My screen had not had any problems before I took it in always worked fine . They told me I HAD to change it along with the charging piece if not Id be left with a white screen told me it would be $300 total. I said okay since they told me it was necessary along with the other problem. What they didnt tell me was they would be putting a cheaper screen as they said and would charge me more when I came back to get the screen fixed because the one they put on was glitching and horrible. I told them I didnt want to pay more and to just put another one of the cheap screens on. They fixed it so I thought but now my phone turns off randomly and the brightness will dim and come back. Now I have to go and pay more $$ when I originally only had one problem. If I would have known they were going to be putting a cheap screen on I wouldve just took it somewhere else to begin with. Ive used them before so Im very upset that I have had a horrible experience. I paid 300$ just to come out with another problem.

Check out this statement from the business: We apologize for the precieved poor performance. This is one that should have never been touched as the MSI parts are rare, difficult to replace, and take loads of man hours, especially when the laptop was "still working fine." A refund of the full amount was issued. Hope you find a better solution elsewhere. This was the companys response to my spouses review after they broke our computer. Lets deconstruct this. Perceived poor performance: I would love to know how you developed the audacity to call it perceived when it was objectively not only poor, but shockingly incompetent. Next, this is one that should have never been touched blah blah blah. This is your business, if you arent qualified to repair it or if it isnt worth it to you then it is your responsibility to say so, you dont get to take the thing, break it, and then blame the customer who hired you to do a repair you said you were competent and willing to do. On to the bit about how the laptop was still working fine, and yes Im picking up on your sarcasm here with the quotation marks. The computer did work, it was difficult to keep the cord plugged in. This is my daily use computer, the mousepad worked and the keyboard was functional with working lights and all keys attached. It also didnt have random cracks glued back together on the case. However, it did need a repair and you dont get to botch it and then act like we are liars or bizarre computer hypochondriacs who are imagining problems. Finally, a refund of the full amount was issued. That doesnt come close to compensating for the damage youve done, and thats not because we are feeling disgruntled. Are we disgruntled about your lack of foresight, professionalism, and basic self awareness? Of course. Are we appalled that you are so irresponsible that you are taking expensive electronics from folks when you dont even have insurance? Absolutely. But its simple arithmetic that you dont destroy a $1200 computer and offer folks $80 as compensation. Youre $1120 off on this this basic subtraction problem, and unless youve broken all your own phones and computers you can double check my math with your built in calculator. Your expectation that anyone would perceive YOU as the victim here because you refunded the repair price after destroying the whole machine is laughable. It would be hilarious if it werent my $1200 computer you mangled. Edited to add: please see the photo. One month ago in response to a review about a phone broken by this company, the business claimed that we will actually replace the device in full if we return it in a worse condition than when it was brought in. Note: we were offered $80. Be very wary, the fact that they dont have insurance indicates that theyre at best delusional about their abilities and the nature of their occupation, and this review response which is obviously not at all true (or at best, it is a policy that is not applied equitably) indicates some serious ethical issues happening with these folks.

I brought my laptop in with a slightly damage case, which caused the charging port to wiggle. Still worked fine, and was more of an annoyance than anything. I took my laptop into Shattered Dreams on 3/16/2024. I was initially told that it needed to be soldered and needed to be ship to a company they used to handle that and that it would take 7-10 days to get it back. I was fine with that and left my contact information for when it was ready. I received a call later that day saying that was not the issue after all and that the computer needed a new palmrest. Dallas explained what needed to be done and said he would order the parts and I should get my computer back around the following Thursday. Fast forward to today, 4/2/2023, much later than expected on getting my computer because parts were taking longer than expected. I received a call from Dallas yesterday informing me that the parts came in but he was not happy with the way it turned out. He wanted till today to have it ready, as the keyboard was not fitting back into the computer correctly. He called me earlier to let me know it was ready, but he had broken the keyboard and was ordering a new one but wanted me to have it back in the meantime. I went about 4 pm to pick it up. As I was paying I noticed a trim piece on the back that was not previously broken was obviously broken and glued back together. I opened the laptop and noticed glue around the mousepad of the laptop. I instantly brought it to their attention. They took my laptop back and cleaned it up a bit and brought it back out to me. I knew something was not right and went to my truck to test it. Luckily, I had brought the charger with me and my truck has a standard power outlet. I plugged the laptop and noticed for starters that the keyboard was no longer backlit. As the computer started up, I noticed the mousepad no longer functioned as well. I had yet to leave the parking lot. I returned inside the store. They knew what they gave me was not quality work as they not only offered, and granted, gave, me a refund of the repair but offered me $80 on top of it. This was a nearly $1200 MSI gaming laptop, per the price listed on Amazon right this moment. This was not going to fly with me. I asked about liability insurance. Dallas informed me that he was "self-insured" and does not carry standard liability insurance. I informed him I would see him in court then as he has destroyed my property, and he knows it. I tried calling and having a conversation with him once home to see if cooler heads could prevail and he told me the computer is more than he can handle and offered $50. He then hung up on me as I informed him my next route was to tell my story on his Google reviews. Update: This owner is an unprofessional, and in over his head. If you took your car into the shop to have an engine worked on, and the shop messes up the transmission, they don't get to tell the car owner "Sorry, sucks to be you!". They have to get the car back into proper working order. I don't know why this nitwit thinks this is any different. Read other reviews where he has destroyed other property and just sent them out the door. Not anymore, Dallas Love. You are a crook and I will expose it for all to see!

Hi, Anahi. Terribly sorry for the experience. Water damage has indeed effected the display and charge port on your device. We were up front with you about the difference in displays. You opted for the cheaper version. We're not real sure how we could have done anything more for you at the price points you wanted. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is a super expensive device. We wish you would have come talked to us about it again asc we went above and beyond to get you up and running again in timely fashion and for a reduced cost. We appreciate your business nonetheless.
