        I came in to get my taxes done before the deadline and Ryan was excellent!! He was very knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend anyone to come and get Ryan to help them with their taxes!!

        I really wish I had done them myself. I chose to use Jackson Hewitt because of the Virginia state tax. I live in TN. And I didn't trust that I could do it prorperly. Well all the tax preparer had to do is enter W-2s. And the Virginia state tax. And I was charged $358.00. I almost fell over. I had already estimated that I would owe the IRS and that was around $1100.00 but last year I had them to do my taxes and I was charged $150.00 and I had Virginia state tax then as well. I will not be using them anymore. I do have to say they were accurate. And I should have asked what the cost would be when I made the appointment that is my fault. But never again. I think that amount for simple taxes is outrageous. It's bad enough owing the IRS. But paying for 35 minutes of tax assistance at that price point is ridiculous in my opinion.
