I'm sure they wont respond to this. Do not buy American Water Heaters. There was one that was less than 3 years old in the house when we moved in and it failed completely within a few weeks. Water all over the garage. The warenttee was still in effect so I replaced it, only to have the element burn out, then a month later the whole thing took a dump... 2 of the same brand American Water Heater. This time I replaced it with a Reem, more money but why keep making the same mistake over and over again.

Do not I repeat Do Not Buy anything from these people as there Warranty is not any Good and it's not worth what you have to go thru if it doesn't work because I been without hot water going on 2 months Tennessee

Worthless warranty, 3 year old water heater installed brand new in new construction, all they offer to send is parts, I pay shipping, have already had electrician and plumber service, still have to pay a plumber to install the parts they send ( likely not even the cause of the issue) - at this point would have been cheaper to buy a new one from a company with better quality products that actually has a usable warranty. We own and manage over 100 units and will never buy this product again.
