I just had the absolute worst experience at this location. I am a mental health counselor and at check-in had asked to check out at noon so I could work my last scheduled appointment via telehealth at 11am. This was approved by management. I provide trauma therapy/HIPAA compliant services. Even with this approved well in advance, the phone rang in the middle of me working, when I went to answer, noone was on the line. I apologized and went back to my appointment and then despite a do not disturb sign being on the door, Joey knocks at the door. I opened the door and explained that I had a late check out approved and that he was interrupting health services I was providing. He continued to talk and again I told him he was interrupting services. He got agitated and I told him I would never stay here again and closed the door. He then yelled through the door he was glad I would never stay here again. He then came back a couple of minutes later and put the do not disturb sign under the door and beat on the door yelling to the top of his lungs to "leave the premises immediately." Mind you, I did not raise my voice at this person, I did not curse him. Was I upset? You bet ya, because they were not abiding to the agreement. made. I had to end a session in the middle of trauma therapy, apologize to my patient and I went to the front desk where Joey then said "I will not be spoken to in that way." I'm guessing he was trying to now act as if I was out of line. I did remind him I never once yelled, raised my voice, cussed, nothing at that his behavior was completely unprofessional. He apologized only after I told him he was being recorded. He risked my job, made me feel unsafe at a location where I was alone as a female as he was very aggressive both physically and verbally by beating on the door and throwing things and yelling at a paying customer that had made arrangements for a late check out. I will be following up with management and corporate as I feel strongly this person should never be customer facing and has no business in this line of work. I paid a lot of money for this room as I just happened to be traveling during race weekend and lost money due to not being able to complete the session. The breakfast also had stale muffins in addition to this employees stale and aggressive behavior. I would not recommend this location ever and indeed will ensure I never stay with a Choice hotel again.

Complete trash. I work nights and after paying would not let me check in at 8am due to policy. Then blamed it on Expedia and made me pay for a second night. They are heartless. Stay somewhere else.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It is an older hotel, but the rooms were very clean. It could use some updating, but we were happy with our stay and would stay again.
