Hello Susanna,Thank you for contacting us about your transaction, and we do apologize for the miscommunication and difficulty that you had at the register. I looked into your situation, and what I was able to find out was on your original purchase, the cashier accidently charged you for 1# container on a SKU that we used three years ago instead of the 9" container she should have processed the transaction with. Since these Nolfork Island Pines just arrived on a truck one hour previously, we had not had time to process barcodes yet. Upon your return to Evergreen of Johnson City to get a smaller size container, we had time to process the barcodes for the entire houseplant shipment, hence why there was such a large price gap for your transaction (an incorrectly used three year old price point / SKU vs. the correct price point / SKU for the shipment). Unfortunately, the individuals at the registers were unaware of these details and the error was not caught at the time of checkout. We do apologize the the trouble, inconvenience, and frustration that you experienced with us while you shopped. The next time you come into Evergreen, please call ahead of time to make sure either Tony, Andrew, or Shaun are available and one of those individuals can help answer any questions you may still have and make sure that you leave as a satisficed customer.
