Went in to have a hurting tooth checked out. After a brief wait was taken back and seen by a Dental Assistant. Then put through multiple exams, x-rays ect. Nothing pertaining to the hurting tooth, with no explanation as to why all the test. I explained to the assistant that I was here for a hurting tooth and I didn't want to run up a large bill, nor would be responsible for paying for work done without my permission. Assistant said she understood. While going through some more exams, an office staff member came back and said she couldn't locate my insurance, told me of the balance due and I agreed to pay. I told her I would call and figure the insurance out, that I definitely I had it. Dentist came in and gave me a rundown of what needed to be done. Office manager came briefly to one again claim that I did not have insurance and someone would contact me about what needed to be done. At that point no other services were offered, ( I would've been more than happy to pay the bill and proceeded with needed dental work ) We could have figured the dental insurance out later . This was never offered . So I Paid bill and left. We called back several times over the next month and verified that I did have DENTAL INSURANCE. Was told each time by office staff that someone would be contacting me shortly to discuss everything with me. Never received a call back. I called this morning 4/11/23 and explained everything above to the office staff that took the call. She verified insurance and told me the cost that it would be for the dental work needed. Then proceeded to tell me in a very rude manner that all of this had been explained to me already. I asked her how was it explained to me when no one has ever even called us back pertaining to what I came in for. My opinion, this is a very mismanaged organization from the top all the way to the bottom. Everyone from the dentist, the hygienist to the office staff need some customer service training along with open communication with patient, as to what is going to happen before and after treatment. You just don't bring a patient in and start running a ton of exams on them without explaining ( Procedures ) first . I will not be seeking further dental work with this company, nor would I ever suggest anyone doing the same. VERY DISSATISFIED.
