We take the safety and comfort of our guests very seriously, and we will ensure that our pool maintenance procedures are monitored even more closely to prevent similar issues in the future.I also want to address your concerns about the charges to your account. I understand that you were charged more than what was initially offered during the booking process. Please accept my apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. This was due to sundries purchased at the Brightside Market during your 3 night stay. We strive to be transparent with our pricing and billing, and I regret any discrepancies that occurred in your case.       image We have never stayed at a La Quinta that charged for pets, but this one does. The first night, we were not told about the $50 per pet per night fee. So it was a surprise the next night when they told us about it. We got charged an unexpected $200 ($100 extra per night) for our two night stay. We had to spend 30 minutes cleaning debris off the floor of the room because it hadn't been swept well, and our pups kept finding things on it. The moral of the story is that not all La Quintas are the same, and I don't recommend this one.
      Rooms: Not very clean, and the beds were noisy. The base is made out of sheet metal and made a bunch of noise when moving or getting on and off the bed
      Noteworthy details: They charge $50 per per, per night. This was not explained to us the first night, so we are a lottle blindsided when we decided to stay a second night and they told us about the fee. We ended up getting charged for both nights despite the fee not being disclosed at the time of booking or check in. Buyer beware.

      image My daughter and I spent the night here for a quick little mother-daughter getaway. We specifically booked here because they had a hot tub/jacuzzi and an indoor pool. We felt welcomed and it was a very hospitable experience. Zelda at front desk was amazing, accommodative, kind, and caring. Earl the breakfast attendant was very helpful and professional. He was quick to assist us with getting a tray and making our blueberry pancakes for us. The room was spacious and clean. The gym was compact but had a variety of equipment. We loved the breakfast options. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend (right off exit 4)
