Quality Inn Exit 4

Overall 4/5 Value 5/5 Wifi 2/5 4/5 instead of 5/5 because the internet is bad and the breakfast set-up is poor. Pros: clean lobby and room. Grounds clean. The motel seems well maintained. Room in good order. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Location good. Parking plentiful. Cons: wifi inadequate and craps out when the motel has a lot of guests. Management is aware of this but is too cheap to upgrade the system. Breakfast is provided by an independent restaurant. This is never good. In this case, the physical set-up (the layout of the buffet table) is bad. They were out of eggs at 8:15! They serve bologna instead of ham.

Front desk was less than helpful when it came to accommodations for military travel. Refused to honor the tax free status. Once we got to our room I was highly underwhelmed. For just under 200 dollars we received a room that looked like it hasn't seen an update since 1968. The brown and nicotine yellow color scheme was certainly "welcoming". The bathroom was small and looked as clean as it could. The tile looked as if it were grouted in place by a toddler with toothpaste. The mini fridge lacked a freezer which was a bit inconvenient. The bed was like a cereal box someone placed sheets on and they managed to find every consistency of pillow that is uncomfortable and unsupportive to make up the plethora piled in the middle of the bed. After a night at this "quality" inn I'm not sure what hurts more, my back or my wallet but I've certainly learned my lesson. I'll make sure that on our next trip that the establishments we choose are both military travel friendly and comfortable which this one managed to miss the mark on both. But if you're into disappointment and an uncomfortable night's sleep, this is the place for you! I wish I could give negative stars. Edit : After a reply from the owner (seen below) I did ask directed and called in to speak to him. The woman that answered told me he never comes in, collected my information and told me the manager would reach out 'if she has time' what a joke.
