      image Me and my grandparents came to stay at this hotel for spring break and weve been to it before (wonderful experience) but when we checked in, they said that they were fully booked! We had reserved our suite weeks in advance and they said we couldnt stay there. They told us we could stay at the Westin a hotel near the Residence, and they would pay for our stay there for one night. We came here with 4 people and the 2 bedroom suite at the Residence would have been great!! But now weve had to stay at the Westin which only has a maximum of 2 BEDS, that is not enough and complete outrageous! We hoped this stay at the Residence would have been a fun time but it has become a huge disappointment. We are leaving early.

We try our best to prevent these situations from happening, but unfortunately time to time we do have to relocate reservations for a variety of reasons. We acknowledge and understand this can be an inconvenience for our guest and this is why the hotel offers to pay for the first night's room and tax. We do our best to coordinate with the other hotels to ensure the room offering is equal to the original booking. Again, we are very sorry this was experiences as our guest.       image Great location, friendly staff. The included breakfast was typical for a Residence Inn and the area was clean. The hotel, room and bathroom/shower were clean. The carpet and furniture in the room was somewhat beaten up and needs a refresh. That would be my only detraction for an otherwise delightful stay. Will definitely stay there again.

      image We love staying at any Marriott. We had a wonderful stay. When we had an issue with no hot water in our room they accommodated us quickly to a new room with no issues. The staff was amazing. This location is within walking distance to many restaurants, movie theater, the aquarium and the river front. Highly recommend.
