The Angry Italian Restaurant

I couldn't be more disappointed in a dining experience We waited nearly 2 hours for a burnt pizza, only to have our server placate us with her made-up explanation for the charred disaster- " that's how it should look" So, I suppose it should taste like a charcoal brick too This server was simply horrible in that she didn't listen didn't refill drinks, never even tried to make our order right...but the table with the single guys she knew.... They had 5 star service NEVER be back!!! We've eaten Italian across the nation and this Chicago wannabe is not even close.

Place an order for pickup, was told 45 minutes. Okay, thought they were very busy? Took a peek in the dining room, there only a few tables with customers. Picked up our food, drove back home. We opened our food, I don't think my fries even made it to the fryer. The sandwich could have been better.

We saw this place on our couple trips to the main street area and decided to try it for lunch. The menu is limited but we all found something we liked. Two of our kids wanted pizza so we ordered them both a kids pizza which they could have split and been fine so if you have small kids order one. Eggplant dish I had was really good with the meat sauce. Tiramisu was really good too. Well keep this place in mind next time we're in the area and want some Italian. I love that the story for the chef and restaurant name is on the table :)
