Rim Rock Lodge

Absolutely loved our stay here - hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect. We stayed here on our road trip from WA to the Midwest, and wish we would have arrived earlier or stayed longer! Such a beautiful, quiet spot with just the right amount of amenities. Super quiet, very nice, in an excellent location, close to all the good waterfalls in Spearfish canyon. In the woods but near the main road. Walkability: Very walkable, only steps from the well maintained Mickelson trail

From the moment we arrived, we were in love with the place! Geoff and Lori were such gracious and attentive hosts. They greeted us, told us a bit about the history of the property, showed us to our suite (the Margaret Bridge), and asked if we needed assistance with luggage or if we might like to sit on the deck with some wine or a beer. Throughout our stay, we saw them frequently and they were very attentive, even coming out to check on us upon arrival after some bad weather in the area one evening. They had great suggestions about what to see in the canyon and shared about the wildlife in the area. It was just the perfect getaway for my husband and I. I really hope to make it a regular trip. There is so much to see and do, but I could also just spend all my time on the fantastic deck watching the world go by. Thank you Geoff and Lori for making our 25th anniversary trip special by sharing your corner of the world with us.
