Edelweiss Mountain Lodging

This is a great place to stay. Beautiful scenery everywhere and very close to Lake Pactola and Hill City. Would highly recommend the guided ATV tour. Chuck gives an amazing tour, taking you to places with amazing Black Hills history.

Great experience! The Kojak cabin has amazing views and a hot tub. We did the atv/utv tour with Chuck at Edelweiss and he was a perfect guide for our family. Highly recommend.

This was one of the highlights to our vacation. The tour was adventurous and exciting. Chuck was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable of the history and even some great stories of the area. This is by far one of the adventures I would recommend. Great company Great people!

We stayed a week at the Edelweiss cabin and had a lovely vacation in the Black Hills. The cabin was as we expected and as seen in the photos. Our lodging provided for us a cozy place for our family to relax after a fun day out and about. My only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 are related to a few minor points that added up to a 4 star experience: - we arrived to find out that we didnt have the minimum toilet paper (we only had 3 rolls) and paper towels (half of a roll only) we were told would be provided, and these were never given to us despite calling about this right away - the bedrooms were a little warm at night because the overhead fans provided very little air flow even on high and the one stand alone fan provided couldnt be used in the main bedroom because there were only two outlets in the whole room at the head of the bed - a little cleaning was required on check in to clear some bugs (not flies) from the kitchen around the sink - a solid (not clear) shower curtain would be better suited for a two bedroom cabin with only one bathroom Otherwise you cant beat the price for a little privacy while visiting the Black Hills.
