After being let down by another prominent flooring store in Rapid, we moved over to Thortons. Not only did we get a similar product but they installed it a month faster and for much less money. Highly recommend Thortons!

We had flooding in our basement this Spring that required some carpet replacement. I went into the store to compare carpet samples and the salesperson said they would have an estimator contact me the next day to schedule a time to come to our home and measure the area. I had to call back 10 days later to ask why I hadn't been contacted. After the estimator came he was supposed to have it written up that night and I would receive a quote in a couple of days. Two weeks later I had to call and ask for the quotes. I had requested two separate quotes to include areas that wouldn't be covered by insurance, and I only received one. I still went forward with Thornton since I had already gone through all of this effort and was told someone would call me in a couple of days to have the carpet layers come. Unsurprisingly, this did not happen. I instead got a call at 5:30 pm the night before they came to inform me that they would be there at 7:30 am, while I was out of town. The finished product looked nice, but they did areas that I did not ask them to do nor did I receive a quote for these areas and still got billed for them. I did call and get the charges removed, but overall had a terrible customer service experience.
