Wow. Just wow. I started using Jen Jan 1 after having been with 3 others in town and having bad experiences. So I waited awhile to review Jen and her crew. They are all honest. They are friendly and so great work. Any questions I have (which can be pretty often)as I am not number friendly at all are answered fast and she doesnt charge for every little thing

I chose this business due to the really good reviews, however my experience was not pleasant and I wanted to be transparent before others go through the same issues. We brought our taxes to Jennifer and our appointment was concerning because we had uploaded all documentation prior to our appointment per the instructions, however she appeared to not have them. Additionally, she just seemed unprepared overall for our appointment. That happens sometimes, so I tried to be understanding. In our appointment we went from owing, to getting a massive refund and I was confused and in looking at it she missed a W2 with almost all of my income for the year. I caught this in the review because it just didn't seem right. Again, this happens (we're human). So we finished taxes up with Jennifer but needed one more document to finish that we didn't have on hand so we said we'd email it to wrap things up. This is where everything went downhill quickly. Over the next MONTH we tried to finalize our filing and we were unable to get ahold of Jennifer directly. Every time we called her office we got a different person on the phone who assured us she'd call back between appointments, that never happened. Our return still seemed "off" so I had another tax professional just look at it, and lo and behold Jennifer didn't put in my income correctly and this altered our return by thousands of dollars. We tried to get ahold of her to tell her this, and ultimately had to schedule ANOTHER appointment to get it resolved. This service was very disappointing, and the overall process was very stressful due to poor communication, a lack of attention to detail, and overall bad customer service. Jennifer is a very pleasant person and I wish her the best, however please work on these things prior to offering services as taxes are very stressful to a lot of people and they seek your services to be helpful, not more work for the customer. I would not recommend this service.
