First time renter and I always felt watched.. I had two children under the age of 5 and there was an s3x offender living right next door whom I was SHARING A WHOLE UNIT WITH.. I was overcharged rent for his Mice & cockroaches.. Me & my kids were constantly sick from mold growing in the corners (which I scrubbed clean myself everytime ), I HAD TO have someone present at my apartment at ALL times just so he wouldnt come in while we was gone and do God knows what This was absolutely THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE that Ive ever had! Please dont feel bad for the guy and his sh1tty reviews on this place.. They were ALL earned FAIR & SQUAR!

I loved the two years I stayed at the Capitol Bell Apartments (2019-2020). My unit had a surprisingly modern, spacious, and open floorplan. I also think the balconies are beautiful and stately. For the price I paid, I felt to have gotten an amazing deal. The location is also superb for state workers (which I was). I also at no time felt unsafe. My property manager at the time, Ed, was courteous but understandably a busy man-- I have only good things to say about him. I am writing this review because I felt sad seeing the overall rating of this building at only 2 of 5 stars. Maybe others have had different experiences, and maybe the times have changed, but this is my honest review from my own experience.

Avoid this place like the plague. Tell everyone you know. This landlord needs to be run out of business. My mother stayed here for a while. The landlord kicked her out the instant he found an excuse, just because he didn't like her. When she tried to get her stuff back, he ghosted her. The mandatory thirty days passed and he threw everything out. Not all of that stuff was hers; some of it was mine that she had borrowed.
