        My experience is from my friend. Her elderly mother just purchased a small chair and was charged $199.95 to have it delivered 3 miles to her one floor home. My friend has had furniture delivered from Charlotte for $60. Actually, my family was in the furniture business in this area for over 39 years. Unless the delivery was outside the county we never charged for delivery. We delivered two truck loads of furniture to the middle of Tennessee and set the furniture up for $300. We closed our store years ago but people keep telling us how they miss us and the customer service we provided. Hearing stuff like this is why I wish we were still in the business, too. I would tell anyone to shop around before they visit Badcock and definitely don't have anything delivered.
