    ***NEGATIVE 5 STARS*** CA$H or DEBIT ONLY*** Let me begin...on 04/09/24 my retired husband was driving to his PT job in his Toyota Tundra which completely stopped at approx 48th Ave N Kings HWY in the far right lane. All electronics, including hazard lights did not work. A kind Uber driver stopped behind him and offered to let him use his telephone to call Connect, our amazing insurance company, for a tow. They, in turn called 911, which was extremely difficult to get through but the City of MB responded within 15 minutes. He was most grateful, but because his truck was on a 6 lane highway was told that the city had to use their "GO TO" tow company, Quality Towing, Inc. 1657 Plaza Place Myrtle Beach, SC No problem...his truck needed to be removed ASAP and Ed the tow truck driver was very kind. We paid the $160 "SET by the city", and the truck ended up at Quality Towing, Inc. @ 1657 Plaza Place by 5:30pm. No issues. After my husband returned home from work, he looked into electronic issues that may have caused the problem in his Tundra. MAYbe it was just a simple fuse he could replace on his own and he returned at 6:50 am to Quality Towing, Inc @1657 Plaza Place on 04/10/24 to see if he, himself MIGHT be able to fix our transportation issue. He tried to open the OPEN (sign) door at the company to no avail and was told by a gentleman that he could not get to his vehicle until the bill was paid. He showed the employee the receipt for payment via cell phone and was told to wait outside. The employee then told him he would have to wait for a mechanic to arrive, he waited until approx 8:10am and the mechanic walked him into the towing lot to look at his truck. Minutes later, the mechanic came back out and told him he would have to leave the property, THE property that was holding OUR property behind a fence. He was told that the manager was on his way. When the manager later arrived, AL, he believes was his name, first approached my husband, he was extremely hostile and told my husband that he was upset with him for coming on to his lot, in which my husband calmly explained to him that the mechanic had walked him out to OUR truck, again the bill being paid in full, we had received the receipt on 04/09/24 @ 5:08pm and wanted to look at the fuses. Quality Towing, Inc. diagnostic showed a major electrical short costing an additional $79.18. ($4 being, I'm assuming being a cloth they used and disposed of, adding to the $75 fee). Thanks, Sherlock, we didn't realize it was electronic?!! The manager and the 2 women at the counter showed a lack of empathy and pure rudeness to my husband for a service we had already paid for and would not allow my husband entry to our property, our Toyota Tundra on their lot. We have since called the City Manager to report such ill mannered behavior and will continue to ask why Quality Towing, Inc @ 1657 Plaza Place is in a contract with the City of Myrtle Beach. If possible, PLEASE AVOID this business at all costs...literally. We had our Tundra towed to a family owned business in Conway, who greets it's customer's with kindness and gratitude. Oh, one more important thing...you better have ca$$$h!!! No credit cards, no checks. Cash or debit were the two payments allowed. Look at my reviews...I have NEVER given a bad one, not until today.
