We just spent our second stay at 10 South Forest Beach Drive, Suite 302, Hilton Head Island. We love the location in Coligny near restaurants and the beach. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone interested in visiting HHI!

We stayed at 20 Willow Oak in Sea Pines Hilton Head. For the most part the property is excellent but there were a few things I found annoying. I want to be fair here. I'd say the place was pretty clean. However I did ask before I came, since I was staying for a month, that they do a deep clean. We had to clean some dishes, clean closets, drawers, bathroom floors, etc. I left the place cleaner than when I arrived. Reason being, we purchased a new front interior mat since none were provided, same on table place mats. We were left limited cleaning supplies and no mop, so we eventually got that sent to us and were able to mop the floors. I shouldn't have to ask for cleaning supplies if you want me to take care of your place. We had to get a new vacuum delivered as the existing one was useless. Explains why the place wasn't cleaned well. The location is great. The house is a spacious. Comfortable couches and a nice big TV. Kitchen large. Very beautiful backyard. Wonderful street, nice front yard. Pool and Jacuzzi look nice. However, the beds weren't that great. The wife and I had to sleep separately as the beds were sagging in the middle. The kitchen could have had a few more items for long term renters like Tupperware for instance. For a monthly rental I found it rude that something so basic was not provided. One thing of concern is the neighbor out back to the left is a whack job. We had no encounters with them but the few times we were outside they kept an eye on us. Literally. We found a camera pointed directly in our yard. If my mom didn't pass away the day I found it, we would've had the sheriff over for privacy concerns. How dare they. I went home for a week and came back and it was turned probably because we put a chair in front of it to let them know that they are on notice. As for the management company, they need to be more proactive vs reactive. Anytime we asked for something, they would do it. But from getting copies of the original contract, to cleaning prior to our arrival, to having a best practices guide on how to use appliances, etc. Rather than charge me a fee for beach chairs that I won't use in January focus on making the house more rental friendly and provide me with a spot to wipe my feet and put my shoes when I come in. A place to put my keys, my jacket. Although I really liked the location, the house and all, I wouldn't rent this place again. A deep clean is needed. It feels like a rental and needs a little loving to make it sparkle again. Short term rental its probably just fine. This could be a five star place if the owner and rental company think from a customer needs perspective. Don't be cheap when we are spending a lot of money. 3.5 stars from me. 3 to low, 4 to high.

We had a great time on Hilton Head Island. Any questions we had were answered right away. Carolina Coast Vacations were accomodating and flexible with our schedule. I would absolutely recommend them.
