The Emerald Stays

This was my 2nd year in a row staying at the Emerald and it was exceptional once again. The location is perfect as it is an easy walk to the historic downtown and waterfront park. Very easy to use the no contact check-in. Our room was very clean and decorated nicely. The bed is super comfortable. I'll be staying here every visit to Beaufort.

Underwhelming experience. Company is extremely difficult to contact if you encounter any issues with your stay. My wife and I spent 20 minutes trying to find our room, we were not provided a room number only a code to access the room. Thankfully the first room we tried worked! Very early checkout time was not really cool either. Hotel was clean and beautiful and given the options in Beaufort I can see it being appealing but we definitely wouldnt stay here again.

WOW ! This is the first word that comes to mind ! The Emerald Hotel is a 5 star experience from the time you arrive , the check in is all by email , so u receive a building code and room code , the property is extremely clean and inviting, the rooms are amazing From the cozy bed to the beautiful walk in showers ! If at all possible please book your next stay at this wonderful Hotel with southern charm My wife and I are currently building a retirement home in Beaufort and we will be staying here along the way while we build ! beautiful new renovation on this hotel. phenomenal location within walking distance of everything. the lack of a concierge though can be problematic even though they seem to respond quick via email or phone

Recently stayed here for a Labor Day weekend getaway. The property is beautiful! It's also in an excellent location, close enough to walk to all of the shops, restaurants and sights, while also being next to a gorgeous, historic neighborhood. We strolled through there more than a few times. The property is all self-serve, which for introverts like ourselves is ideal :) Our room was beautiful, and comes with a great kitchenette (and even a complementary bottle of wine!). The shower is to die for, and I decided this is the shower setup I want in my own home haha. So nice! There were only two downsides. Unfortunately the walls are quite thin. We could often hear our neighbors talking, walking, even snoring at times. We also could clearly hear the noise from the main road. They do provide a nice white noise machine, but we were still woken up some. We also were not able to use our cute balcony due to wasps. Overall, it's a lovely property and we would recommend, as long as a little noise doesn't bother you. Walkability: Excellent location and very walkable.
