Howard Johnson by Wyndham Beaufort/Parris Island

The absolute worst!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. The place is unfit for anyone to get a good nights rest. I had to give the place a star to post my review. Its actually 0 for me! Rooms: The rooms were not clean.

Stayed here for a week. It was a nice stay. Nice view of marsh land. Automated pancake maker with eggs and sausage in the morning. Room keepers were kind and love the big towels. Beds were the beat thing I didn't want to get out of bed. It was so comfortable and I felt welcomed here. Thank you for the great memories and hospitality stay! Highly recommend Rooms: Big rooms with big bathroom. You don't feel squished. You got room to move about. Nearby activities: Fishing, trail walking, Walkability: There's a gas station across the street. Walgreens a few blocks away. Walmart is a mile out not to far. Plus cook out zagzbys chicken. The chicken in the gas station across the street and mac n cheese is so fresh Food & drinks: Breakfast was wonderful.

Honestly... Y'all, i wanted to take pictures to share with you, but my initial goal was to get out of that hotel as soon as i possibly could. and this is why: 1) they charged my card for my stay before check in, and called me when it declined because i had another card to use. 2) they called me every 45 mins until i got there to check in, while i was still driving there. 3) i was greeted by a kiosk and checked in with a guy that wasn't even in the country... let alone the hotel. 3) i've never stayed in a hotel that didn't let my husband use his ID to check in for a stay. He's military and we travel a lot, so when they checked his ID and were denied entry to our stay due to his age (he's 20), we had to use mine. but get this, im only 7 months older than him (im 20) and they let us use my ID. weird. 4) the parking lot was SO sketchy !!! 5) the second we stepped foot in the hallway to find our room, it reeked of illegal substances. my mom was an addict growing up, i can pinpoint that smell quite easily. 6) our sliding glass door was bolted to the wall... 7) you couldn't sit on the bed without the springs from the bed frame popping, so it was an all night affair. 8) Shower wouldn't get warm. 9) shower curtain was extremely moldy. 10) it has been a little over 12 hours since check out and i am covered in bug bites. i wore bug spray to my brothers Boot Grad (because of sand fleas) and reapplied multiple times throughout the day, and i wont rule bed bugs out of the equation. we paid $168 for 1 night. checked in - 7:00 pm , checked out - 6:40 am... definitely not worth the stay. please dont stay here. save your money, save your time, and the stress !! please !!
