The Capital Grille

This review is only for Adam the bartender on Wednesday night, 4/10. We came in at 9:40 pm for a drink and dessert for my birthday. Their posted closing time is 10 pm. Adam was visibly agitated at our arrival, since the bar was empty. I ordered a glass of champagne and he presented me with a split of something. I asked to see the wine menu and he, once again, annoyingly presented 3 bottles of champagne and said this is the wine list. Having been to capital grille many times, I am aware that this is not the wine list. I ordered the Moet. His inability to present me with the entire wine list was unacceptable but I let it go. We got our champagne and Prosecco and dessert. As soon as I finished my glass he presented the check at 10:04 with no last call. I asked for another glass of the Moet and he refused, saying he called last call before we got there. I responded, you didnt give us last call when we sat and his response was, Ill make sure to call it louder next time so that you can hear me outside of the restaurant. Happy birthday though. Truly, Im completely appalled. I spoke with the manager and he gave us a gift card which is fine. Good management. But Adams behavior and customer service, or lack there of is completely unacceptable and if we hadnt been to this capital grill previously on multiple occasions, we would not be back.

Tanya created a fabulous Easter experience . She was pleasant, yet professional. I had tried tuna tartare, lamb, and burrata, and everything I had was seasoned to perfection. Im excited to return. Kudos to Tanya she was the best.

We just had a wonderful Easter Dinner! Our server Tanya made the day an event to remember. Can't wait to come back for our next experience!
