Pro:
- Nice looking
- Good location
- Nice staffs
Con:
- No elevator. (Can't believe it)
- Window shades in room are useless, cannot stop sunlight in at the morning. (See my pic)
- Is not very quiet, if someone passing by or talking near your door.
- Room is smell (smells like just finished renovation)
- 1st floor right side hallway smell (pure funny smell)
- No microwave (even in public area)

Pleasant experience while I was in Newport, Rhode Island. Clean rooms and a friendly front desk. The gym was just right for my needs. Highly recommended!

The place looked recently renovated and new. Very nice, bright, clean, and spacious room. Staff friendly and attentive. Loved the Jonathan Adler bath products provided. Internet reception is awesome.
Rooms: Rooms look brand new and well kept. Beds and sheets are soft.
Nearby activities: Newport main street shops, restaurants, and great water views.
Safety: Came off-season so staff may provide more attention. They were concerned when minors were unattended and checked to make sure everything was okay.
Walkability: Easy walkable access, but again, we came off-season.
Noteworthy details: The Pell was acquired by the Hyatt.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The front desk person was warm, welcoming and professional. The lobby was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The room was large, clean and modern. The bathroom was spacious, clean and also modern.
