Rhea's Inn by the Sea

Rheas Inn by the Sea was immaculate and cozy. Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean and perfect size deck. The king size bed was really comfortable too. And we also loved the two person jacuzzi. The endless snacks, coffee, breakfast treats and cookies were also wonderful treats. And Tony is The Best!!! See you next yearMike and Michele

We booked Rheas By the Sea but was moved to Rheas Inn over a Thai restaurant. I would not recommend it.

This is a very nice place to stay, but don't get fooled by Priceline which advertises a different Rhea's Inn in Middletown that is a charmless box. Don't know if they are affiliated, but the other place is the lodging equivalent of a long tech support call.

Just a few miles from the Newport waterfront, we found this to be a convenient location. Check in and out was easy and there were lots of options for breakfast as well as a multitude of snacks. The room was spacious, simple and clean, and included a desk, chairs and a small fridge with separate freezer. One thing I wasn't prepared for was the noise... Traffic starts around 6:00 AM (at least on a Friday) and was very noticable. Also, someone sneezed in the hallway and it sounded like they were in our room. Overall, I would recommend, but bring ear plugs if you're not a very heavy sleeper, unless you're ok to get up early.

This was such a homey, beautiful, peaceful place to stay and the cleanest place I have ever stayed in my life. I cannot say enough good things about the rooms, the cleanliness, the kindness, the 24/7 available coffee/tea/snacks/breakfast, and quick service. We stayed in the King Jacuzzi Room with a balcony, which I suggest, where you can see the Ocean and the in itself and general area is quiet and you cannot hear anything from other rooms or even outside. It was sad when we had to check out because it truly felt comfortable here and that is rare anywhere. If I could give this 10 stars, I would.
