Willow Pointe Apartments

We lived at Willow Pointe for about 15 months and moved out recently due to needing more space. We enjoyed living there so moving out was a little biter sweet. Keely and the office staff were always on their game and very attentive. When i put a maintenance request in , it was handled in a timely manner.Throughout the year the complex had various group get togethers which were always fun. it was great to have a gym on site so I could work out at any time. If we didn't need a bigger place, we would still be living here. I highly recommend Willow Pointe

I have been a resident since the building was new and I have lived all over the US and this is my favorite place so far. They have great amenities and a super staff. Pool. Clubhouse etc all well maintained and Keely is easy to reach out to as well. She has an open door policy for tenants concerns and she and Bernie quickly respond to issues. They seem able to interface with Corp office to facilitate response to issues. They have community social events like wi e tasting and hot chocolate day that are well attended and fun So happy I found this place!!

*This review is coming from a prospective applicant POV* Tour wise, easy to set up, got there early, was shown the apartments and given all information including pre-reqs (will get to this later) Communication was great INITIALLY (pre-application), sometimes you have to call a couple of times but eventually you'll get a response. Samira, thank you for helping us initially, theres not one ounce in me that believes you did not do everything you could to atleast help out. This review is directed more at WillowPointe or people who are higher up in the chain. We definitely thought the process would have been smooth and we were going to have a place here for the future, but due to an unforeseen and mistake / miscommunication (currently in the process of being taken care of) application was denied. As for this I am not giving a 1 star due to denial but more due to ambiguity and lack of communication towards the end (after application fees non-refundable). Rent would have been comparable to what I currently pay, no other hx of anything and multiple solutions that were ignored. Definitely think that there was a way around this and in general I think this complex could do so much better with communication and problem solving. Theres probably so much more I can say, but take this review for what its worth. Just wish there was a way to have easily been able to talk to someone who could've helped. We definitely pitched all the ideas we could. Thanks again at the end of the day. This was by no means at all directed towards Samira who actually has been the most helpful throughout all this! Wish it could have worked out.

I would put 0 stars if i could. Please consider all the bad reviews before deciding to live here. We werent provided with a tour of the apartment before moving, Ive never heard of a complex that doesnt provide tours to potential residents. We ended up moving to an apartment with horrible conditions when transferring to another unit after the first year of being there. The apartment wasn't cleaned properly, vent filters werent changed, main door had a crack in the side which is a major safety issue, and shower drains were clogged to the point where the tub would fill up when showering. Second, these apartments are overpriced compared to the run-down condition of the complex. These are not luxury apartments by any means, the leasing office is not well kept with broken doors and chipped paint. Also consider that the complex is right by the PA Turnpike and its very noisy. Their maintenance and management are negligent and have no idea what theyre doing. We put in 3 maintenance requests in a span of 4 weeks for a running toilet and other water issues that were never rectified each time the maintenance crew came by. We received an insanely high water bill due to issues they cannot fix. Our water bill has never been high in the 2 years of living here and refuse to reimburse the amount even after admitting this was due to a running toilet and not water consumption. Also note that the leasing office never picks up the phone, and if you go in person the manager Keely is either at the gym, picking up food, or left early. I rushed back home from work one day to speak to the manager at 4:00 (they close at 5:00) she was on her way out locking her door. And its always like this, she is always not there. Also good luck with having valuable items delivered to you, weve had our packages stolen from the mail room on multiple occasions, there is zero security in this complex as they dont even have basic security cameras set up in a public mail room that everyone has access to. When we asked the leasing office manager for corporates email for 3 consecutive days, each day shed say shell get the contact info for us by the next day, we never received it. We had to ask a fellow resident who has also been dealing with issues for corporates contact information.
