This building is terrible and management both fails to tell you and fix problems here that occur regularly. The air conditioning inevitably breaks every single year along with the plumbing which routinely breaks every few weeks. The washing machines break near constantly leaving clothes absolutely soaked causing laundry to take damn near four hours. It is more effective to take your clothes to a laundromat than use the washing machines here. The construction on Atherton starts at five AM so enjoy the sound of heavy machinery which the Graduate failed to tell potential tenants about. My best advice for future tenants is to find another property.

They charge you ridiculous amount at the end of the year for no reasons. Charged us 400 dollars for bathroom clean, despite us cleaning. Over 500 in trash removal and kitchen clean, despite us throwing out the trash and cleaning. Charged us for vandalism for exit sign, which we did not do and they did not provide proof. They disgustingly rip off people every year for ridiculous charges.

I was the first to live here when it opened in 1990. Even back then the students beat the place up. The unit came furnished and students were always breaking the furniture, I felt sorry for the landlords, they were a sweet couple. I lived on the top floor and I cannot remember hearing any noise, but on weekends you could hear parties if you had your windows open. The Graduate apartments were a convenient location for all of my classes. It sure beat living in East Halls.

I have mixed feelings about our stay. The bed, blankets and room were amazing. Their amenities were spot on. However, there is no coffee in the rooms. However, there are two bottles of water with 5$ price tags slapped on them. We could have stayed at a Sheraton and received everything plus comfortable bedding. So in the future we know where not to stay. Oh, lets not talk about how disturbing their elevators are.

An itemized list had been provided with your security deposit information. If you have specific questions about the charges, you do have the opportunity to submit a written dispute to the office. Our goal is to be fair and take normal wear and tear into consideration. All residents receive a move-out packet that outlines what is expected upon vacating the apartment. Unfortunately, if vacating residents do not make an attempt to follow the move-out procedures or items are missed, they will receive deductions against their security deposit(s).
