Toftrees Apartments - Cooper's Pond Townhomes

Highly recommend renting one of these town homes! Best staff and maintenance crew I've ever had! If I ever needed anything fixed, they were always ready to fix it immediately. They were also really good about working with my schedule to do maintenance since I was a remote worker. Like many others have said in the comments, the grounds were always well taken care of, and snow removal was never an issue. After 5+ years, we only left because we had to move out of state for work. We also appreciated that Michele and her team always gave ample notice before any complex events/maintenance were happening. This gave my wife and I plenty of time to plan how to handle our cat. This is a very quiet place that has many long-term residents. Lastly, their online portal made it very easy to pay rent each month. Overall, this is a phenomenal place to live!

A great place to live, especially if you have pets. Grounds are nicely landscaped and the buildings are arranged in courtyards that provide a sense of privacy. Lots of green space and connecting paths to walk dogs. Office and maintenance staff are very professional and responsive, and also make you feel welcome. Buildings and grounds are well-maintained, including snow removal. It's quiet but also convenient to shopping and university.

I absolutely loved my stay at Cooper's Pond! Unfortunately I had to move out of the area due to work, but everything about my stay was pleasant. Michele in the leasing office is wonderful & answered all of my questions. Even though I had to move last minute, they were completely understanding & very transparent throughout the process. Would recommend!

Coopers Pond hands down made our life in State College so much easier and enjoyable for the five years we lived there. Michele and every person on the maintenance staff are kind, professional, and respond within minutes to help. You dont get that really anywhere else. When my husband and I moved into our apartment in 2017, I was shocked at how clean our new place was. New carpet, paint, and appliances. The maintenance and cleaning staff spend days updating each rental between residents. Beyond the personnel, the area is very quiet with the HM bus stops right offsite, its safe, and only a 5 minute drive from campus. We couldnt have been more pleased with our living experience there!

All of the five star reviews are not an exaggeration. This is an excellent community in which to live for many reasons. To list just a few: management is great and really responsive, the size of the units is large for the price, the location is ideal, especially if you enjoy nature, and the neighbors are nice, providing an overall peaceful atmosphere. I lived there for four years with my wife and would have stayed longer if we didn't have to move for work. Consider living here if it is within your budget and fits your needs.
