First I would like to say the nurses, and aides are wonderful. The doctors however are a disgrace. My 78 year old father had a trauma went to Reading Hospital needed to be pumped with fluids had some complications, released to rehab with fluid in his lungs gets RSV and pneumonia at rehab back at Reading hospital been in hospital 2 weeks. Get a call today told he can be released to a nursing home rehab even though procedure we were told would be done if no improvement was not completed. He is leaving when a chest X-ray that shows more fluid in his lungs than 4 days ago. Has him at a high risk of readmission but he is ok. Your doctors are rude, inconsiderate and inconsistent. No follow up with families we have spoken to a doctor 3 times since he has been there. Today, we finally had to have the Social Worker ask a doctor to call us. When I said to Dr. that communication is poor her response was come in the hospital and ask to talk to us. Are you kidding me first of all your job as a physician is to contact families second of all we did waited over an hour only to leave and have your Dr. call us after we couldnt wait any longer due to I dont know jobs, kids responsibilities. So I had to lose it on the rude ignorant Dr. in order to get the procedure done for my father! Before you ship him out! A test that we were told a week ago would happen! Be better! Might just be a bed for your profit margins but you are dealing with humans that deserve respect and dignity and the best care possible.

They can't provide medication needed, due to so called "shortage". They dont care about your suffering. No communication or due diligence to get it. But they'll send your bill to collection before you can even comprehend who gets what.

Most employees are kind and considerate. Upper management would not survive in the business world. Upper management lacks professionalism. Most of the Nurse's and house keeping personal are great.
