This facility is actually pretty good. Now clearly, any follow up care from any of the family physicians offices; Exeter, Muhlenberg, would be subject too the horrible support from the receptionists, nurses, and other staff. Let me be very clear. Once you leave the facility you are on your own and you will be disappointed in the follow up care from the family doctor. But again. All in all not too bad. The hospital. Not the health provider that is St Joseph Penn State. But then you meet that one person who works for them but has also been scarred by the inefficient and pathetic system that is the Exeter and Muhlenberg family medicine. And they turn you on too the Berks County Medical Society. Oh yes Jennifer Patton and Amanda Sell. There will be an attempt to remove your license to practice. They are criminally dangerous.

To the Staff in the ER working on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022. St Joseph's ER in Leesport, Pa. You ignored my mother for 3 Hours screaming in pain in a wheelchair in the waiting room. We registered at 630pm and walked out with no care provided at 10 pm. You had the nerve to ask me to move her away from the desk as she pleaded with you for help. Other people waiting felt terrible and would have been fine allowing my mother to be seen ahead of anyone else. I had to take her out of the hospital in severe pain and distress. Never to be seen by a doctor!! I wish I could give the worst rating possible and I would suggest that no one goes to St Joseph's ER At ALL. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! The worst thing I ever had to live through in my life was seeing someone I love being ignored for so long. I video footage of this and I hope this message finds the right people who dare to completely FIRE All of you. I never thought I would ever witness such a moment or experience such carelessness. I never wished bad on anyone ever!!! I wish you All to be terminated!!! Terrible ER! Terrible ER! I RECENTLY WOULD HAVE TOLD ANYONE TO GO TO ST. JOSEPHS HOSPITAL OVER READING HOSPITAL!! I NOW HAVE THE SAME TERRIBLE VIEW OF ST. JOSEPHS AS I DO FOR READING TOWER HEALTH ER!! JUST TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD NOT BE IN THE MEDICAL LINE OF WORK. JUST TERRIBLE!!

My first time here is all I can say is we learn bedside matter in school from Doctor to the nurses were rude ,no eye contact, .This your JOB , yet suppose to be a holy hospital. After this definitely will never come back here

Since Penn State Hershey has taken over this hospital is severely in decline. Took my husband there after having been at Patient First. Patient First was excellent, but due to my husband being a cardiac patient they felt he needed extended cardiac observation. Waited OVER 5 hours in ER. People came in after us and they took them before my husband, a cardiac patient with shortness of breath and onset phenomena. He was shivering so bad he was shaking all over. You could hear from his chest, the longer we waited, the more fluid was building. NO MATTER, he still had to wait. They redid all the labs that Patient First did and would not even look at the chest x-ray Patient First did only just a few hours before. They redid ALL tests. Even after they got him in the back to a bed we still waited another 2 hrs. The ER front desk staff were unprofessional and some of them looked like they hadnt washed their clothes for a week. Overall the appearance and demeanor was sloppy to say the least. We have dealt with this hospital for over 20 years and now I wouldnt put my dog in this hospital!!!
