    I wouldn't recommend this agency unless you're my worst enemy. They are terribly managed with attitudes. I was a patient with AccentCare till I changed to another agency. On Tuesday May 31st, the nurse Ashland made a visit to home, when she arrived, she was unprepared like every other time she arrived, didn't have the supplies needed for the wound change. she never once EVER ordered the medical supplies when low or out. Ashland knew what was needed as she was out here numerous times and had the doctors order faxed to them. The nurses were not showing up every other day as ordered by the doctor. My wound was not changed in 3 days prior to her visit. On Tuesday May 31st I reminded Ashland that the doctors order was to wound change every other day, she snapped back at me 'I know I've seen the fax, only 2 days a week is all were coming'. I said that can't be the doctor is not going to be happy, I told Ashland I'm calling the doctor, I'm on the phone with the doctor and Ashland got up and walked out of the house and left without doing anything for me. Ashland always had an attitude, was never caring or compassionate. I called down to the office to report what she had done, and I talked to a Wendy, she could care less what had happened to me, she had no sympathy or caring. Wendy is supposed to be a manager or head nurse in charge, she shouldn't be as she has social skills of a 4-year-old with a nasty attitude, she took offense when I told her I'm having chest pains dealing with all the stress. Wendy is a terrible person that showed no respect to me in my conversations with her. My doctor was outraged they were not following the order, so he tried to call on Tuesday May 31st and AccentCare never returned his calls until next day and told my doctor they were not sending nurses out to the house anymore. Ashland lied and said I kicked her out to save her job. Ashland is a terrible nurse, terrible person and a bold face Lier that shouldn't be a nurse. The doctor and I were both shocked that AccentCare would do this sort of thing to an elderly person. I went without a nurse to care for my wound for 2 weeks, Wendy or no one from AccentCare would return my phone calls. I called AccentCare to file grievance, I have not heard anything from anybody with AccentCare, no one has ever reached out to me to ask what happened or how they could help. I filed grievance with Medicare and HHS. This is elderly abuse and unethical practices and just downright wrong. Thank God my son had installed security cameras inside the house, my son told me he made copies of the incident with nurse Ashland. Ashland can lie but cameras don't. I will be sending a copy to Medicare, HHS to support my complaint. AccentCare should not be in business if they can't communicate with elderly people better than this. My insurance, primary care and surgeon were all shocked. My primary care said they will never use or recommend this agency in the future again for their patients. STAY CLEAR AND FAR AWAY FROM ACCENTCARE IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES. There were some really great nurses, (Amy joe and Natalie). The occupational therapist (Hope) is a godsend, that went far and beyond. Hope was so caring and lovely to be around. Jim the PT was very kind and nice.

    AVOID THIS AGENCY!!! I am literally shocked and horrified what they did to my elderly mom (Connie). The office lady I think Wendy is a very rude nasty person that doesn't give an ounce of care or compassion for the patient. The nurse Ashland just got up walked out of the house on Tuesday May 31, 2022, with an attitude, Ashland was arguing with my mom cause Ashland didn't want to follow the doctor's written order to wound change every other day. The order was faxed to them, Ashland failed to comply with the order. The insurance, surgeon, and primary care all three said they have to follow the written orders from the doctors. My mom called down to the office immediately relaying what happened to her, and the rude office lady could care less what had happened to my mom. Then the surgeon office had tried contacting AccentCare numerous times on Tuesday and finally AccentCare responded to them the next day and told surgeon that they weren't going to send any nurses out to my mom anymore. My mom nearly had a nervous breakdown to hear that, my mom is depressed and needs home care services for her wound. The rude office lady told my mom that Ashland said my mom kicked her out. That is such a bold face lie that I'm truly disgusted with AccentCare behavior. If Ashland can live with herself lying shows what kind of person she is that has no business being a nurse. My mom did absolutely nothing wrong to deserve this treatment, mom is hurt by these actions. My mom was left high and dry with no nurse to care for her wound for nearly 2 weeks. Ashland never performed anything Tuesday may, 31 when she was out at my mom's house. AccentCare top priority is caring for and helping people, but they don't care and could care less what you think or what happens to you. No one at AccentCare EVER returned any of my mom's calls or have even attempted to reach out to her to ask what happened or how they could help. They literally stopped sending nurses out. This is elderly abuse and unethical standards. place needs to shut down if they can't communicate and work with elderly people better than this, what a disgrace. My mom's insurance company, surgeon and primary care are horrified, said this is totally unacceptable behavior and won't be tolerated. The house is equipped with video cameras hopefully it shows how Ashland acted and was all caught and recorded but that doesn't even matter, This is unacceptable behavior what the nurse did and the way the office handled this. Ashland is a terrible nurse, terrible person and a liar that was never caring or compassionate, she never wanted to listen when my mom would suggest something to her. she always rushed to do her job (poorly) and get done quick, one time she wrapped the wound only to slide off my mom's leg only an hour after leaving the house, when my mom needed medical supplies ordered Ashland never once placed the order. All the other nurses were excellent and caring. This place doesn't want to hear your concerns, thoughts, or complaints of any kind, will refuse to reach out to the patient. Very shady practices! Ashland and the rude office lady that answers phone needs to be held accountable for their treatment and actions. Both Ashland and rude office lady lack training, social skills and needs to be fired for their actions. very unprofessional company. my mom's primary care blacklisted this agency, she went with another home care agency as of 6-10-2022.
