tl/dr: Communication was terrible (difficult to get ahold of anyone), unfriendly service, and ultimately they did not come through/we were ignored when the event got close. In the end we had to scramble and go with a different Minuteman Press location who did an amazing job.
I have been meaning to post this review for a bit, but have not had a free moment. I am not one to leave negative reviews. Usually, I say nothing if I am displeased because I understand there may be mitigating factors at play. So, for me to leave a scathing review of a service, it takes a lot.
I reached out to the Quakertown Minuteman Press shop because I have worked with other Minuteman Press locations and been extremely pleased with their professionalism and products. My wife and I recently held our daughter's Bat Mitzvah and reached out to the Quakertown location a couple of months in advance of the event looking for several print orders for the event. I was met with indifference bordering on annoyance by the person I worked with on the phone and by email. I was pretty clear on what I was looking for, but felt like there was a weird breakdown in communication. When speaking with the owner of the franchise, I felt like our order was unimportant and was told "it is just a small print run."
As the event drew near, I was concerned that things would not get done in time and could not get ahold of anyone. I left messages and emailed without response. We ended up reaching out to a different Minuteman Press location near my place of work. The difference in communication was night and day. They were eager and enthusiastic to help us with our print order for the event. They communicated clearly on the pricing and all details. They got the work done in short order and everything looked amazing. I wish I had worked with that other location from the outset. I will do business with Minuteman Press in the future, just not with the Quakertown Minuteman Press location.
