Paul came out within days to give us an estimate to replace our old deck and build an Azek deck. His estimates were in line with and even a little bit better than the competition. Once we decided the specific deck we wanted built - Paul and his brother, Joe, and nephew started the job 2 or 3 days later and finished the bulk of the job within 3 days! The final product is astonishing. The attention to details that they put into their work speaks for itself. I can not recommend these gentlemen enough if you need work done. They are nice, down to earth, responsive, and punctual which is hard to find in any contractor. My partner and I were able to text Paul at all hours and get quick responses. I plan to add pictures of my deck to this response once it is complete and furnished, but so far we have spent every single day out there! Thank you Paul and Joe!

How many contractors actually meet the estimate they gave you? Paul's estimate on rebuilding my wood deck worked out *to the exact dollar* and completed it on time. I implicitly trust Paul and that is very important to me when it comes to this kind of work. He set my expectations, explaining that although he set the boards edge to edge, over time as the boards dried gaps would appear as the natural wood boards weathered. When a post cap came loose [something he had warned me might happen over time] he took care of it. When a tree fell on my deck and busted the bannister in a couple places, I knew I could count on him to help me fix it. He will lay out your options straight and fair, so you can make an informed decision on your own. And that is exactly what I want! Thanks Paul, you have my business. This is your handy work at two years. Don't worry. It's getting new sealant applied soon!

Scotese Builders did work for us on a whole house renovation a number of years ago, both meeting our aggressive time frames and exceeding our overall expectations. If we were to do it all over again, I would not change a thing.

Very Rude! Refuse to give an estimate. I gave one star just because they returned a phone call.
