We came for opening day. We were not allowed to check in this was at 2:30 check in was at 4:00 they were keeping everybody's bags. The quotable quote of the day was everybody wants special treatment but we can't give everybody special treatment. Excuse me your Marriott we expect special treatment. Gone to the room sat down on the toilet it leaked all over the floor. Bad wax ring. Asked to be moved they weren't sure they had anything. Put us in a handicap room the bed had no box spring no pillows hole in the wall I will never stay at this property again. Said they would compensate Us in bonus points for our bonvoy as of today there is no points in my account. Plenty of places to stay in the North Shore don't make this one of them

Rooms: The room was great! It had the convinces of a stove and refrigerator. Nearby activities: The hotel is close to downtown Pittsburg. Just walk across or drive across a short bridge and you are right in the middle of stores and hotels. Courthouse and other government office buildings in the area.

We are visiting for a week. The 1st night we arrived, I wanted to take a shower, and there was no hot water. I called the front desk, and the attendant told me to just let the water run. I had let it run and informed her of that. She then said we'll there isn't anyone here from maintenance, so unless you want to change your room. We agreed since it was 10 at night , she would have maintenance come look at it the following day. This never happened. I just let the water run for 15 to 20 minutes until the water gets hot . Day 2 I can't get the air to stop blowing in my face while I sleep. It's setting my allergies off because of all the dust on the ceiling. Then my husband god bless him is snoring. There is a couch bed in the suite, so I go downstairs to ask for an additional blanket. The attendant tells me we don't have any down here. I was like, you don't have any blankets. " unfortunately no" he says. His expression is like that's it. SOL lady. I head back to my room to curl up on this disgusting couch and try to get some sleep. Wondering... am I going to be able to get clean towels tomorrow

Let me start by saying the staff was kind and the location was excellent for a baseball or football game. However, as I have stayed at many Marriott brand hotels over the years, I dont plan to return to this one. The room was not clean. There was a layer of dust so thick on the faux wood (head board, sink and shelving) that I couldve easily spelled my name in it and left my mark for all future guests. The couch was stained and the linens were WORN. And by worn, I mean my finger played peek a boo through the hole in my washcloth. To say the shower, sink and kitchen did not have hot water is an understatement. The water was ice cold even though I placed it on the hottest setting and it never even came to lukewarm. The showers were stocked with a shampoo, conditioner and another shampoo rather than body wash. The doors and cabinets were scratched and showed signs of excess wear. The place smells dusty and old. At one point my 11yr old said while standing in the first floor hall Mom, it smells like feet in here. I stayed on the 6th floor and the odor continued throughout. So breakfast ended at 10 and I arrived at 9:10 ready to eat but much of the offerings were gone. There was no waffle mix at each station and it was not refilled. Noticing the food was running out early the attendant made more eggs and sausage but it was not enough to feed the growing crowd of guest. I am glad I only booked this hotel for one night because had I not arrived already tired at 11pm, I would not have stayed. Walkability: Across the street from the baseball stadium and a block or so from the football stadium.
