        It's just ok, not the best park in Philadelphia and try to visit fdr park when there is an event happening or it will be boring.

        The lakes (FDR park) has been a staple of the South Philadelphia community for over a century. Whike its had its struggles over the years its great to see all the improvements that have been made lately. Looking forward to all the new fields and the visitor center. The new Anna Verna playground while a great place I am also disappointed that it is not more handicapped accessible Playground: The new Anna Verna playground is ok. Its the same 3 slides and a great swing set. I thought it would be more inclusive with more stuff for children with disabilities to be able to enjoy. I've been tonither parks where there is a lot of things for special needs children to ride and do. So while I appreciate the playground over an empty field, I would have just liked to seen something more all inclusive .
