My sister was a patient here for three months and she was happy! She had a stroke and was at Magee at first and she was very unhappy. The staff at Magee was unfriendly. Her only complaint at Penn was the food. The day she went home we forgot her camode and a very wonderful male nurse, name Eric dropped the camode at our house ,when he got off work, that was amazing! Thanks Penn and Good Shepherd for looking after my sister so,well🙂,

My grandma who is 94 recently fell and was brought here for rehabilitation and recovering. So to keep it sort, if I could I would give this damn place a negative rating. Talk about understaffed, if your love one wants to use the restroom at night, they better hope to hold it for an hour because thats how long it takes to request a nurse for assistance. Talk about well trained staff, if assistance even came, youll better hope they know what they are doing. After taking multiple test in her right arm, the area where the needle was swelled and blackened to this day. Also, my grandma for some reason requires blood testing everyday for the whole week for what? Talk about garbage food served here. If you want to request your food to be pured, keep asking and waiting. It would happen until a week later. Theyll pure everything even your pancakes. Oh, you also want to require bread in the morning. Not happening. You want anything, its not happening. During rehabilitation, if you have no energy, you better doing it anyways or get yelled at. This place is a joke. Im glad she left. Maybe the one star in the rating is the 1out of 25 nurse that actually knew what they were doing.
