Lokal Hotel Fishtown

Loved loved loved! Very unique "space" easy access, outstanding communication. The area feels a bit "off the Beaton path" lots of construction BUT in a year I bet this is the hottest ticket in town. Great restaurants near by, cool bars, we walked to the Met. The only thing I would add is some snacks in the room! Chips, popcorn, nuts and bigger coffee mugs. Rooms: clean, zen, modern, perfect

My husband and I stayed at Lokal after our wedding. We used to live in Fishtown but moved to the West coast over a year ago and wanted to stay in our old neighborhood--and we couldn't be more pleased with our stay! The room was STUNNING, super clean, and extremely comfortable. Gave us serious house envy. We stayed (intentionally) on a room away from the El, and barely heard it once. The owners were communicative and quick to respond, and even stocked the room with a bottle of bubbly for our celebration which was just a really sweet extra touch. Location, check-in and check-out, amenities, and comfort couldn't be beat. I'd recommend anyone to stay with Lokal next time they're in Philly!

Close to all the great restaurants in Fishtown. I have walked by and admired the signage many times and was so happy to see it at the entrance. Train noise was minimalwe stayed in the Front Jawn. Very nicely appointed room. Shower and bath products were amazing.

LOVED our stay at Lokal! Communications were always timely and clear, and they were super kind to accommodate an early check-in when I reached out in advance. Self check-in was also very clear and simple. The room was absolutely stunning! A perfect space with everything we would need and more. I appreciated the little touches like the iPad concierge, HOT showers, soy milk in the fridge for my coffee, and the white noise machine by the bed (we stayed in a room by the train so that was much appreciated). The hotel itself is in a very walkable and lively area. The Lokal guide gave us perfect recs for eating and exploring - all in walkable or easily accessible spots. Their parking lot rec was surprisingly easy to figure out, too! Lokal made our stay comfy, stress-free, and super enjoyable. Would recommend and return! Rooms: The room close to the train does hear a hum as it passes by. The space itself has hot showers, lots of closet space amenities like robes, soaps, towels, milks, coffee, spices, cooking utensils, iPad concierge, TV subscriptions, a bar, etc. Nearby activities: Food and drink mostly but a quick drive will take you to other activities and experiences (I personally went to The Barnes Foundation which was 10 minutes away) Safety: The hotel entrance is a very sturdy and secure gated door with smart locks and cameras. Walkability: Very walkable to restaurants, convenience stores, bars, cafes, parking lots, etc. Food & drinks: Tons of restaurants, cafes, bars, desserts, and convenience items nearby.
