I honestly never realized there was an end/start to the trail because I thought it looped around the whole city. That being said it looks like there's construction to extend it more so perhaps it will continue to be built out.

The Schuylkill River Trail is a scenic multi-use path that stretches over 75 miles, offering a peaceful retreat for walkers, runners, and cyclists. The trail begins at the Kernsville Dam in Auburn, just above Hamburg, and winds its way through several counties before reaching its southern terminus in Philadelphia. Along the route, trail-goers can enjoy views of the Schuylkill River and the diverse landscapes of southeastern Pennsylvania, from rural areas to urban centers. The trail is a testament to the regions rich history and commitment to outdoor recreation and conservation.
