I checked in for a four night stay visiting for a conference, and was very disappointed about the state of the room - the cleaning is not at a high level at all - there is hair all over the bathroom floor and sink. Really disappointing! Would not stay here again.

Let me just start from the beginning, I called the hotel number to book a room for one night and paid $205 for the room. The person on the phone gave me a confirmation number and said I would get a confirmation email, then I said I didnt get any email and they hung up! So I then called the hotel and asked if my room was booked and they said yes. I drive 5 hours to the hotel for them to tell us we have to pay $300 more to stay in our room! So after paying that it left us almost completely broke how can you charge $205 then I get there and you want $300 more? They dont tell you that over the phone nor is there any signs saying so. Theres no parking you have to pay $45 A NIGHT for valet or park blocks away and walk. Then we go to check out and they say the payment didnt go through and we have to pay more money!!!! So after standing there for 20 minutes they were still trying to figure out whats wrong they obviously dont know what theyre doing, I asked for a manager they said there was no manager! I DONT recommend this hotel we had a horrible experience checking in and out. I will never stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet area. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. I love that they had a Board Game Center located In the lobby. I would love to stay again.

Think twice before staying here. I came back to my room after being out most of the afternoon and evening to find a note under my hotel door informing me that staff would be entering my room to do a deep cleaning and micro re-etching process on bathtubs (My room doesnt even have a bathtub, just a walk in shower). Service to be performed starting Saturday 3/23/24 through Monday 3/25/24. I went to the front desk, as the note instructed if you had concerns, and asked if this service could be performed after my check out on 3/24/24 and was told no. I was also informed that it was mandatory and I couldnt refuse them access. I also will not be receiving any discount for the inconvenience. I was not informed when I made the reservation or upon check-in. Beware, they also charge an incidental fee of $250 upon check in (I did not have a pet or car with me). However, they added it into my room fees and charged it as one lump sum. This is a merchant violation. It should be charged as a temporary hold so that it drops off your credit card after check out. Now I have to call my credit card to report this violation. There are other places to stay near the University of Penn that treat their guests with respect and do not have questionable business practices. Check your bill carefully! They most certainly do not value their Hilton Honors members. Safety: Hotel contracted staff entering my room while occupied, to do a Deep Clean and Re-edging of bathtub grout. There is no safe in the room and I will have to remove all of my belongings, since the hotel is not responsible for theft of guest items. I also will have to sit in the lobby while this is being performed, with my stuff. This is my last day of my visit and I planned on sleeping in (after-all I did pay to rent the room for exactly this purpose, to sleep in). Noteworthy details: Hotel lobby staff is unprofessional, rude and poorly trained. The manager called my room and never identified herself until I asked whom I was speaking to. She was impolite and had an attitude. She informed me that I could not request my rooms cleaning be delayed until my check out on Sunday. Even though the note stated cleanings would be performed through Monday.
