This CVS seems to have less and less all the time. Additionally, the woman pharmacist is very short and gives attitude. There was a lovely young man there for a bit... but his pleasantness is not enough to keep me using this pharmacy as my primary. Thumbs DOWN.

Ive never left a review in my life. However, this CVS, particularly the pharmacy, is so unprofessional and rude that I feel it necessary. These are pharmacists with zero understanding, empathy, or communication skills. The other day I was picking up a prescription for pain meds. The man behind the counter looked at me, said to be honest Im out of here in 30 minutes, its not happening, looked at his co-worker and laughed. Today, the pharmacists were possibly all on lunch? No sign, no information, no communication, just a line of people confused why the gate was half shut, wondering why none of the 5 people working behind the gate thought to give us any information. Depending on the day you go, it might be even worse. The culture in the pharmacy runs from apathetic/lazy to toxic. Ive seen elderly people trying to understand where to receive vaccines only to be yelled at for standing in the wrong place, despite there being absolutely no signage or information as to where to go. I would call out their pharmacists by name, but they dont even wear name tags, perhaps because they are aware of how miserable their service is. There are hundreds of pharmacies in this city, avoid this one like the plague.

Do not use this pharmacy for specialty prescriptions. On more than one occasion, I have had a specialty medication shipped to this branch (2320 Fairmount Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19130) for pick-up. And on more than one occasion, despite having a UPS tracking number and delivery confirmation, employees have assured me that I am incorrect and that my medication is nowhere to be found in the store. In the most recent case, my medicine had been delivered the previous Friday morning and I was told the following Tuesday morning that the medicine had not been delivered. I called the CVS Specialty national customer service line and received great service from the rep who answered; she called this branch to investigate. Guess what -- they immediately found the medication at this store. So, either I was lied to or, as a customer, I was not a high enough priority for them to actually look for my medicine. When I picked up my medication I did not receive an apology or explanation; they could not have cared less. Again, this has happened more than once and I expect it will happen again you dont get the sense that customer service or continuous improvement matters much to the pharmacy staffto put it lightly. I will no longer be a customer of this branch. If you actually need your specialty medication, get it shipped to your home or find another CVS branch.
