My friend lives here on the ninth floor and she loves her apartment!! Her only wish is that her kitchen was a little larger. She has a beautiful view of the city being able to see the Philadelphia skyline in center city and the Delaware River Bridge crossings. She has a security guard twenty-four seven with security cameras and a buzz in feature at the entrance door that rings in her apartment to then buzz people thru the door. Transportation right at her building entrance for convenient commuting.

My stay here was NOT GOOD. What drew me to this apartment was its size, location, price, and my apartment was newly renovated at the time. From my move in day, the elevators were broken for 2 weeks or longer. I had to walk up to the top floor which was A LOT of steps in a VERY dirty, pee smelling, smoked out stairwell carrying heavy and large items. Hallways can be very confusing at first as well which added stress to my move in. Something was always breaking/not working had to call maintenance a good amount of times. A few months in, I started to experience mice getting into my apartment even though I kept it clean and free of mess. At first I was hearing a lot of intense scattering and scratching inside the walls and called maintenance and they told me it was probably just squirrels. The fitness center amenity is not what it seems to be, there is barely enough room to turn around and its most likely not cleaned enough. Using the laundry rooms was nearly pointless. You have to reload money on a card and pay to wash clothes one room per hallway and sometimes they would all be occupied each floor or just would be out of order. Ended up having to go to laundromat anyway. I thought the safety here would be decent coming from outside of Philly, but it is NOT. It is pretty quiet, yes, but there are barely any cameras in the buildings or outside the buildings. Homeless people will sleep or stay in the cut near the entrances. What topped it off for me was my car being STOLEN right out of their parking lot! The leasing office did NOT help at all and made it seem like it was the least of their concerns. I wouldve expected them to AT LEAST send out a notification to other residents letting them know such crime took place on their property. MECCA is VERY rude!! She said that if there was no blood shed then my situation was not an emergency worth her helping me get in contact with police. Another time she attempted to confront me about personal business outside of the leasing office in front of other people and I was not even the right person she thought and it made me feel very uncomfortable. During my car theft situation, she was the main staff person I had to deal with and she made the experience so much worse along with the maintenance crew. Also, maintenance will sometimes leave a mess after fixing a problem in apartments but then they kept money from my security deposit because I left a little bit of vacuumable mess in the HALLWAY during my move out. The hallways are barely ever cleaned and are usually dirty anyway! Then to really top it all off, it took these people OVER 2 MONTHS to refund me the rest of my security deposit without any cause or reason which Im sure is not legal!! I had to keep calling just to get in contact with someone so many times just for them to tell me to call the next person. This apartment was not as pleasant as I thought it would be and would not recommend unless youre desperate and literally dont care about anything I mentioned. Overall, the only positive experience was just the location being close to shops like Target and thats really it. Maybe also the space outside and that its quiet for the most part. I was paying more than 1300 for a 1bed and it is simply NOT worth it.
