Love the people that work here! Everyone is always super nice and personable. The woman, who I believe is a manager, is always super nice and willing to help her coworkers wherever she can. Great team! No matter what I look like when I walk in, I can count on the Monroeville team to treat me with kindness and respect, unlike other beauty stores around. I will always return! It also helps that Ultas reward/point system is in a league of its own. It is so easy to earn points that quickly add up to serious money. I save my points until the end of the year and then use it to get some free Christmas shopping done!

I love that I have curly hair but the frizz is pretty ridiculous these days. Its a curse and a blessing. I do not have time nor do I want to straighten it every day or buy a ton of different products trying to manage it. Shelly (read some other reviews, and youll see why I go to her) recommended a keratin treatment and I loved it. Under NO circumstances did I want formaldehyde in my hair and her formula is formaldehyde free and does not damage my curl pattern. It took about three hours but the results are worth it. Its been two weeks, Im writing this review sitting on the beach, admiring my frizz-free beach waves. Edit:Out of curiosity I did a little salon comparison. I know you get what you pay for is a valid argument but she charges significantly less for a quality service. I definitely recommend.
