Just Cabinets

With managers as rude as the one I just encountered, I'm not surprised that this company is going out of business. As he keyed in my credit card over the speaker phone, I expressed concern when I mistakingly thought that the recording repeated my account number over the speaker. He loudly told me that he knew what he was doing because he's done this for 30 years. I nicely explained that I was nervous about my name, number, and credit card being spoken out loud. But he continued to insist (with a scowl and a hand slap to the counter) that I was wrong. I calmly said, "I see my mistake. But, next time it would be more effective if you smiled and politely pointed out the misunderstanding." He yelled again, "I'm Sorry but I don't have time to be nice when I'm on the phone getting approval. " I left on the verge of tears.
