Let me first say, our waitron, Brittany, was wonderful and was tipped well! The food was good but pricey, small portions. The six of us had a great time at Passerine this First Friday. What was not great was the sediment left in my glass of Clos De Luz. When I shared my concern with our waitron, she gladly invited the bartender to our table. The bartender was immediately dismissive and said that is normal for this wine because its unfiltered. Yes, I said, but you obviously poured me the bottom of the bottle. She proceeds to argue until my friend suggested, how about a glass on the house, which she reluctantly offered. The 2nd glass, no sediment. I took it to the bartender to show her and she doubled down with disrespect and another person at the bar vehemently backed her up which I later found out was the manager. Shame on both of you for such unprofessional behavior. The wine was very good with the exception of the sludge. My experience would have been much better without the gaslighting. Please do better for your future customers.

We had a group of 16 people celebrating a birthday and had an area to ourselves and enjoyed the space, food and service. Would highly recommend.

Quite disappointed. Went here with a couple friends for the first time and was excited to experience it. Nice atmosphere. Had a good espresso martini but not amazing. Got the sweet potatoe crepe as my starter and it was very good. The best food of the night. Then ordered the carrots and NY strip. I found it odd that the main entrees came solo. No accompanying vegetables, potatoes etc... So I had to buy my carrots separate from the steak. It feels to me that a steak or any entree should come with a side. The steak honestly was not good. Tough, chewy, lacked flavor. Very dissapointed. Sadly, one of the poorer restaurant steaks I've had. Service was fine, ambiance was good. I tried my wife's striped bass and it was very good. Made me wish I had ordered that. Overall? Unfortunately, probably not a place I will choose to return to.

This cozy restaurant, sitting in the shadow of the Fulton Theater, will pleasantly surprise you. The food was nothing short of phenomenal! The Celariac Steak with oyster mushrooms and fried sage in a brown butter hollandaise sauce was a vegetarian dish that blew me away. The autumn trifle genoise sponge cake dessert was the perfect ending to our fantastic meal. The cozy and warm atmosphere and depth of the drink menu, truly complement the amazing culinary experience and will demand that you add Cafe Passerine to your list of favorite restaurants in Lancaster.
