I recently worked with Broadie Ceiling Solutions on the fairly large job of insulating the ceiling for the entire basement level of my house and replacing and/or installing a drop ceiling as needed on the same level. The drop ceiling install included adding lights as well.
After working with Mr Broadie I can safely say he was just about the most professional contractor I've ever worked with in this geographic area. I originally contacted him via email and he responded very quickly (same day I believe). He came to estimate the job and provided several options of incredibly well itemized estimates. This sounds fairly simple, but believe it or not many residential contractors seem to do a bare minimum in this regard.
He showed up on time on the days he scheduled and worked for the full day.He even worked late one day to ensure meeting his originally estimated deadline. He also made himself available via text message in the evening when I was available to ensure everything was going smoothly. The final pricing of the job matched the original estimate provided.
As far as the work goes, he did a fantastic job. I checked in every day after I got home and paid close attention to the care that was put into the work. I'm not an expert, but everything passed my eye tests. Numerous people have complimented our new ceilings and my wife and I are highly satisfied with the final product.
In addition to the residential work he did for us, it also sounds like he does commercial work as well (for anyone out there who is interested.)
I would absolutely work with Mr Broadie again if the need arises and I would recommend others in his area do the same.
