The one bedroom is pretty large and the closet. The outside is well lighted at night and maintenance response is quick. Krisite Banus was helpful from viewing the apartment to move in date. She was very cooperative with anything needed, as far as going to the apartment and giving me measurements for the door prior to my move in date... Petra

Let's start with the good: great location next to the park, far enough away from the college, in unit washer and dryer. The not so good: Numerous issues with maintenance, especially when the new property manager took over in the past year or so. Took a literal month to get my oven fixed. Had to eat Instant pot meals for a month. It was around Christmas time so I would've loved to be able to make cookies. There was an also a leak from upstairs that messed up my wall, and I'm not kidding when I say maintenance had to come to my apartment 6 times, each time painting the patch of wall a different shade of paint- none of them even coming close to matching the color of the actual walls. They ended up asking me if they could just paint that wall a different color and have an "accent wall". My partner ended up just going to Home Depot himself, brought a paint chip in and they matched the color perfectly there. Why a maintenance person wouldn't know to do that, I don't know. I'm pretty sure all of the apartments are painted the same greige color anyway. Also dealt with a noisy upstairs neighbor that had a drum set. Multiple complaints were made, and nothing was ever done. I was told it was being addressed, but the noise continued so I decided to give up since I knew my partner and I were moving out to buy our own home in a few months. Be warned your pet deposit is non-refundable so don't get your hopes up about getting that money back when you move out. It's ridiculous to pay both a pet deposit and then $35 a month in pet rent. I would definitely recommend that only applicants with emotional support animals apply for this reason . Rent went up a significant amount every year. One year they added an additional utility to the lease. They also only allow long-term residents who have been there for years, either only be in 6 month leases if their apartment is not a renovated unit, each renewal raising the rent or move to a new, renovated apartment which is a lot easier said than done for a 75 year old. I'm not a long-term tenant-- been there for 3 years, but when I was told this by neighbors I was saddened to hear about this. In my opinion, this is seemingly predatory. I would expect nothing less from a property management company such as Post Road Management, with hundreds of properties in their portfolio. Corporate greed is real. It's the norm now unfortunately. Anyway, eat the rich . Be aware that the overwhelmingly amount of positive reviews on here, likely has something to with the basket raffle we could be entered in as tenants for posting a review lol. Hope this review is helpful!

I have lived here for a while now and I love how serene and quiet it is here. Management does a great job at keeping the area tidy. The property is super nice and so convenient living by a park. The washer and dryer in the apartment are a nice touch, you don't find that in many places. From the very beginning, I am impressed by how friendly and helpful Kristie is. She is always there to answer any questions or concerns I have. She demonstrates each and everyday how reliable and kind she is. You will not be disappointed with the great professionalism, responsiveness and friendly demeanor she offers. This place has been a wonderful experience renting so far.

Love Love Love Devonshire Park Apartments. No other complex I have lived in is managed as well as Devonshire. Maintenance is done promptly, effectively and with courtesy. The hallway is vacuumed regularly and the grounds, lawn, ice/ snow, are tended to promptly as well. Then there is location, location, location! Devonshire is far enough off Main street not to be bothered by traffic noise, bonus Devonshire has no through traffic. It would be remiss not to mention the adjacent community park which has year round amenities for adults and children. I have indeed found my home.
